Options at Downstream Step, Set by Upstream Step

Definition of Options that varies Dynamically, is also available as well as Fixed Options. For example, in the Workflow of "Events Venue Selection", Options will be enumerated and be set in the upstream Step for the first time, and then will be selected at downstream Step. In such a case, set "String type (multiple lines)" which will be entered in upstream Step, as the reference of Options.

1. Separating Survey and Selection
Survey and enumeration of the “Proposal” in the upstream Step, “Decision” at downstream Step
2. Reducing Input Burden
Reducing the input labor in the downstream process as much as possible (e.g.: “Situation Confirmation to the Construction site”)
a. Option ID
Identification symbol that is used by the server communication, etc. (Equivalent to “value attribute” in “option tag” of HTM)
b. Display Label
Strings that is displayed on [Input screen] (Equivalent to a character string enclosed in “option tag”)
  • It does not matter even if you set the same string in the [Display Label] and [option ID]
a. list of Option ID
Define a data item of [String type (multiple lines)] to store the Option ID (Option value)
b. List of Display Label on Options
Define a data item of [String type (multiple lines)] to store the strings of Display Label
  • Input example of Options (Option ID / Display Label: “a1/Tokyo”, “a2/Madrid” “a3/Istanbul”
  • When you set the same string to the Option ID] and Display label, only one [String type (multiple lines)] is needed.
1. Set a reference destination of option ID
Specify a data item of [String type (multiple lines)]
2. Set a reference destination of Display Label
Specify a data item of [String type (multiple lines)]
  • When the number (of lines) of Option ID and Display Labels is different, Options as many as the number of Option ID will be displayed.
  • Options to be Displayed will be determined when the Approver opens the Input screen, instead of upon the Issue arrives of to the Approval Step
