Enable the Exporting Function to External Online Calendar

Sometimes You will want to perform duplicate registration of information about date or date and time in the Workflow System, for example, the Deadline of each step, etc., to an external calendar (schedule) system. In Questetra, it is possible to display a button for data duplication to external online calendar (Google Calendar only : As of January, 2016)

Enable the Exporting Function to External Online Calendar

a. Data Communication using OAuth
The computer performs a communication that is approved (authorized) by the User himself, as proxy
b. Data Communication using Basic Authentication
Computer performs a communication using a password which is entrusted by a User as proxy
  • OAuth is a secure proxy access method that is used widely. e.g. in Auto-posting from Facebook to Twitter, etc.
  • The external access using OAuth is authorized by the external resource side (Revocations, as well)
  • “OAuth 2.0 specification” is the only proxy access method that Questetra can be the client-side (transmission side of HTTP request)
1. Enable API
Enable API that is required for OAuth Communications
  • The external calendar that can collaborate with Questetra is “Google Calendar” only (As of Jan., 2016)
1. Set up Domain
Enter your domain at [G Suite connectivity] (formerly Google Apps connectivity) menu (e.g. example.com)

  • At the same time, you can use various collaboration functions of G Suite
1a. Enable functions
Enable G Suite Collaboration at [Account Settings] of each User
1b. Authorize Communications
When exporting data for the first time, the authorization of the external resource side will be required
2. Revoke Authorization of Communications
Revoke the authorization of access at the security setting of the external resource side
